Principal's Message

Dear Captain Gray STEM Families, 

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year. My name is Kristen Wren, and I am honored to be the Principal of Captain Gray STEM Elementary.

I have been in education for 22 years and have served as a paraeducator, teacher, instructional coach, behavior intervention specialist, assistant principal, and now principal. I am excited to be the Principal at Gray, where every learner is valued, innovation is encouraged, and resilience is nurtured!

Captain Gray staff is a community of educators who believe in a vibrant learning community where every student is empowered to explore, innovate, and thrive. We strive to ignite a lifelong passion for STEM and prepare our students to become confident, compassionate, and capable contributors to a dynamic world.
