Principal's Message
Dear Captain Gray STEM Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Captain Gray STEM Elementary. My name is Kristen Wren, and I am thrilled to join this vibrant and innovative learning community.
My journey in education began over two decades ago, and I’ve had the privilege of serving students and families in Pasco since 2008. Most recently, I served at Ruth Livingston Elementary, where I developed a deep appreciation for the power of collaboration, student-centered learning, and strong school-family partnerships. As a parent, educator, and now principal, I am deeply committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.
Captain Gray STEM Elementary is known for its commitment to excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and I look forward to building on that legacy. Together with our dedicated staff, we will continue to nurture curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in every classroom.
As we begin this new school year, I invite you to partner with us in supporting your child’s academic and personal growth. Your voice matters, and I am eager to listen, learn, and lead with compassion and purpose.
Thank you for welcoming me into the Captain Gray family. I look forward to an amazing year ahead!
Warmly,
Kristen Wren
Principal of Captain Gray STEM Elementary
